I love baseball caps. If you see me at Petco Park or elsewhere you will rarely see me without a cap on. Obviously they are great, when wearing, at keeping your head and face from sunburning. Beyond that I think they are cool to wear and a great way to honor your home` team.

This past Monday I bought the cap that I am wearing with the Friar to support my sister-in-law who has battled breast cancer. Monday was a pink day as well, although the players wore thei regular home uniforms. The reason I am pink is because it was BREAST CANCER AWARENESS night at Petco Park.

I digress...back to the caps!

I have a total of six Padres caps and two useless Chargers caps. One that matches w`hat ~I am wearing on any given day. I also have canes that do the same thing. I started as a Capaholic in my youth. My team, at the time, was the New York Mets. Those caps are long gone but the addiction to buying multiple caps is not!

This year I really like the specialty fitted caps made by NewEra . I wasn't too keen on the caps last year. The Mother's day pink cap looks awesome when you see it with your own eyes!

As a matter of fact I am going down to the Padres store to buy this cool hat. The picture is ok but again you have to pick it up a look at it to appreciate this cap.

Like they did with St. Patrick's day and Mother's day all the MLB teams will have the same style caps and uniforms on for Memorial day May 31, 2017.

I like the colors this year but I will have to wait and see the 4th of July cap in person to decide. Below I will show you an alternate 4th of July cap I found on the NewEra website.

I like the holiday uniforms and caps because it puts a little color into our bland regular uniforms this year.

This is last year's (right) and this years (left) St, Patricks day caps that were on sale in March.

This year's cap is ok but I prefered the solid green cap from last year. I really like the Father's Day cap and uni. I am definately getting the cap even though the Padres are out of town playing against the Brewers.

I love this powder blue color. This color looks awesome on me.

Doesn't that look sharp? I think it does and NewEra really did a hell of a job designing our Padres caps.

It looks like NewEra and the Padres store do not have the 2017 4th of July cap online yet. I did find this cap on the NewEra website that looks pretty sharp.

This cap is exclusive to the NewEra website and only can be purchased there. I may get this one if I don't like thestyle of the 2017 4th of July cap. I like the the SD has the American flag on it! They have one like this for every team. I guess this Capaholic needs to wait and see what the official 4th of July caps are.

You can see on the picture, that shows all the holiday uniforms, the Homerun Derby jersey and cap and the All-Star game cap. They are nice but I don't think I will buy these. Last year we hosted the All-Star game so buying the 2016 cap made sense. The All-Star game will be at the Miami Marlins stadium this year.

Finally this cap is worn on Friday home games as the Padres go back to the brown and gold. I like this one but I also have a brown cap with a gold "SD" that I like a little better.
